Attracting hundreds of manufacturing professionals from around the country, Women in Manufacturing’s annual SUMMIT is the only national conference of its kind. The SUMMIT will be held October 4 – 6, 2021 as a hybrid conference with a virtual experience and in-person sessions at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown in Cleveland, OH, to ensure that the entire community can participate.
The SUMMIT 2021 theme, “Manufacturing HERoes,” embodies WiM members and workers across the entire manufacturing industry who stepped up during the pandemic to continue manufacturing essential products, and who are leading us down the road to economic recovery. SUMMIT presentation topics will focus on resiliency, courage, resourcefulness and adaptability.
This year’s SUMMIT features:
- General Sessions - Keynote presentations delivered by industry leaders and practitioners that are designed to give high-level perspective on relevant industry topics.
- Workshops and Breakouts - Pick and choose from more than 20 breakout sessions that offer experiential learning activities rich in cross-functional appeal. Take a deep dive into sessions on leadership and professional development, operational excellence, and diversity and inclusion best practices.
- Roundtable Discussions - Brief facilitator-led table conversations centered on a single topic related to manufacturing and/or commonplace challenges. Participate for thought-provoking dialogue, knowledge sharing and network building.
- Plant Tours - Some of Cleveland's most advanced manufacturing companies will open their doors to enable small groups of attendees to visit their facilities. You will be able to pick which tour you would like to attend.
