Giving Tuesday 2021
#GivingTuesday is a global movement unleashing the power of radical generosity.
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity. Giving Tuesday is one of the biggest giving holidays of the year! In fact, it is predicted that $3.48 Billion will be raised on GivingTuesday 2021 — a 27% increase over 2020’s record-breaking $2.4 Billion.
Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.
I know we are all gearing up for Giving Tuesday, but at WiM we are already thinking about what comes next. To show our gratitude, in our next blog post we will be highlighting our 2021 donors and the impact their contributions will make to the WiMEF.
