Kimberly Garcia

On #WiMspirationWednesday, we would like to highlight Kimberly Garcia! Read to find out more about Kimberly and why she was nominated.

About Kimberly:
- She has been a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) and Energy Recovery Product Manager for 3.5 years with Cleaver-Brooks
- Fun Fact: She fell in love with steam while attending her alma mater, Massachusetts Maritime Academy. She is a proud "steam geek" and Marine Engineer!
- She was in the #Massachusetts Air National Guard for (6) years, where she was an Avionics Technician on the A-10 Thunderbolt II Warthog.

She was suggested by Karen Rivera, Corporate Salesforce Functional Analyst at .

"My tenure at the company is longer than Kim's, and I can recall the days when I was one of only three women who weren't spouses of employees during our annual sales meeting. When Kimberly joined our team, she had difficulty understanding how thrilled I was to see her and increase the number of other women at our annual sales meeting. I explained later why I was so delighted to meet her. Women in this industry have a bright future, and I was inspired by the change she embodied. The hope for a better environment for women in manufacturing grew as our careers grew within the company. In her current role as a Product Line Manager, she is responsible for some of our most complex pieces of equipment. As a champion for the next generation of women, she is a constant reminder of the Art of the Possible!" - Karen Rivera.
