Why is WiM important to you?

WiM is important to me because it creates a space where women in manufacturing can connect, grow, and thrive. It offers both inspiration and practical support—whether that’s through leadership development, mentorship, or simply knowing that you’re not navigating this industry alone. It’s empowering to be part of a community that actively works to elevate women’s voices and break down barriers in such a historically male-dominated field.

What is a highlight moment or a favorite memory from your time with WiM?

One of my most meaningful memories with WiM has been helping to launch the Western Michigan chapter alongside an incredible team of dedicated, passionate women. Building something from the ground up—creating a vision, forming strong partnerships, and bringing meaningful programming to life—was both challenging and deeply rewarding. What stands out most is the teamwork, the shared sense of purpose, and the pride we felt seeing our chapter come to life. It’s a reminder that when strong women come together with a common goal, the impact can be powerful and lasting. We are going on 6 years strong!

How would you describe WiM in one word?

Transformative. Driving meaningful change for individuals and the industry.

How has WiM affected you personally and professionally?

WiM has been a truly transformative part of my journey—both professionally and personally. It’s given me the confidence to step into leadership roles I may not have pursued on my own and has surrounded me with a network of women who constantly inspire and challenge me. I've learned that leadership isn't about having all the answers or a specific title—it's about listening, lifting others up, and leading with purpose. WiM has helped me find my voice and reminded me that making an impact often starts with simply showing up and supporting those around you.
