Weiler - The First 25 Years: Plant Tour & Panel Discussion
Join us to learn more about the history of Weiler, how the company started, the growth the company has experienced and a glimpse into the future. We will start with lunch and networking, followed by a panel discussion, and finally a tour of the facility. The panel will consist of the second-generation owners: Megan Weiler Green, CFO and General Counsel; Joel Weiler, Engineering Manager; and Katelyn Freeseman, Production Support Manager.
About Weiler:
Weiler is deeply rooted in the community of Knoxville and surrounding areas as a major employer and community partner for many great charitable organizations. Weiler manufactures asphalt paving equipment that is sold exclusively through Caterpillar dealers around the world. The Weiler family also owns Weiler Forestry, where they manufacture equipment that is used in the forestry and logging industry. Their competitive advantage is that they produce a quality product, are nimble enough to allow changes and customizations on the fly to satisfy customer needs and wants, and their employees take great pride in building a superior product. Weiler currently employs over 800 employees at their two facilities in Iowa - Knoxville and New Sharon - and over 200 at the Weiler Forestry facility in LaGrange, Georgia.
We can't wait to see you there!
