Kaye DeLange
Retired Vice President, Business Operations and Supply Chain / Executive Board Member

Kaye DeLange started her career with Cargill, Inc. in 1991 in her hometown of Eddyville, IA. Over 31 years, she held positions in Quality Assurance, Research and Development, Environment, Health and Safety, and multiple operations management and business roles, including becoming Cargill Eddyville’s first female plant manager in 2010. In September 2013, she was selected to lead Cargill Salt’s solar, evaporation and packaging terminal operations as the VP of Operations, in 2018 became Cargill Salt’s Business Operations and Supply Chain (BOSC) Leader and VP, and in 2020 was selected to hold the same position for Cargill Bioindustrials prior to her retirement in September 2022. 

Kaye is passionate about community, servant leadership, developing talent, and diversity, equity and inclusion. She served in multiple capacities on local and regional economic groups including board membership for the Iowa Economic Development Association, William Penn University’s Board of Trustees,and Qore, LLC. She is currently serving as an outside director for Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative and is a board member / Education Director for the Colorado chapter of Women in Manufacturing.

Kaye received a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and minors in Chemistry and Economics from UNI in 1989, followed by her Master’s degree in Food Science from the University of Minnesota in 1991. Kaye currently lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with her husband, Bob. Hobbies include spending time with friends and family (including their children Cole, Danielle and Ryan), travel, and all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer (hiking, mountain biking and skiing).
