About Leadership Consortium

Leadership Consortium is an executive education program which concentrates on issues pertinent to managers of managers working in a manufacturing industry.  The comprehensive curriculum is focused on building and  developing  leadership talent in Manufacturing with a program emphasis on:

  • Embracing a broader perspective
  • Driving strategic thinking
  • Making new connections
  • Promoting innovation and inclusion

Energizing those inside and outside of their traditional organizational structure

Leadership projects will be an important component of the learning journey throughout this program. Each participant will select their own projects based on the both the curriculum and their organizations’ needs.  Through virtual meetings and peer coaching participants will support each other’s progress on their projects.  Each participant will be required to have engaged a mentor from their own organization to support and give feedback on application the their learning and the project implementation process within their organization.

WiM Member Rate: $2,500
Non-Member Rate: $3,500

Our speakers and facilitators have diverse backgrounds and are experts in their field. They will lead the cohort through activities and discussions that promise to engage and inspire your growth and development.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before applying each candidate should have: 

  • Support of their organization’s leadership and their direct supervisor for their full participation in the program including investment in the course studies and leadership projects. 
  • Hold a role as a manager of managers - where they can directly apply the leadership and management concepts, tools and lessons learned.
  • A Mentor from their organization outside of their direct sphere of influence, NOT their direct supervisor. (If possible, one or two levels above them in the organization)
  • A basic understanding of Emotional/Social Intelligence, Developing Others, Leading Change, Coaching and Mentoring. 
  • Project ideas within their org structure and beyond their area of responsibility for the betterment of their organization.

The selection process for this program is competitive, and not all applicants will be accepted for the first cohort. Each cohort will include participants from a variety of job functions, manufacturing areas, organizational sizes and gender.
