We learn to lead – from entry-level employees to c-suite executives – leadership is a developable skill. This course will focus on the understanding, process, and implementation of results-oriented leadership skills throughout any industry. While some individuals may naturally possess certain leadership qualities, effective leadership is not solely innate but can be nurtured and honed through proactive skills development.
Learning Objectives:
-Explain why leadership is a developable skill rather than solely an innate trait, and describe how it can be cultivated at any career stage - from entry-level to executive.
-Identify the core components of evidence-based, results-oriented leadership skills and their relevance across different industries.
-Outline the process for learning, adapting, and refining leadership skills through experience, education, and deliberate practice.
-Describe practical methods for implementing effective leadership practices to improve people operations, team effectiveness, and organizational efficiency.
-Articulate the connection between individual leadership development and broader organizational outcomes, including competitive advantage and long-term success.
-Develop initial personal strategies for proactively strengthening their own leadership capabilities.
