WiM Virginia will also be hosting a career exploration event at Hopewell High School for 9th thru 12th grade girls in celebration of Women’s History Month on Friday, March 17, 2023.
March is Women's History Month – commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history. As we celebrate the important role women have played in history, there is no better time to explore the rewarding and well-paying opportunities available to females in the high-demand and high-growth fields in manufacturing.
Students will learn about a range of career options through a series of activities and discussions with local area manufacturers. Students will explore various career opportunities that support all post-graduation goals.
