Join us for Spring into Opportunity. – Waco WiM Event! Whether you’re brand new to WiM or already part of the organization, this is an easy, welcoming way to get connected. We’ll start gathering around 5:30 PM, giving everyone the flexibility to settle in at their own pace. There is no agenda and no pressure—just good conversation, friendly faces, building new connections, and a relaxing evening together. We’ll provide the pizza and appetizers, and you’re welcome to purchase beverages you’d like directly from the bar.
About Slow Rise
At Slow Rise, our foundation is built on the principle that we can do better; nestled in the heart of restaurant chains, we want to be your spot for better pizza, better adult drinks, and better service. We are owned by Waco natives that have multi-generational roots here and care deeply about this city. We chose the Woodway area because the 84 corridor is lacking in fresh spots that have a seat for everyone, especially kids.
Our New York-style pizza is made completely from scratch through a laborious process of allowing our special recipe dough to ferment and rise slowly—this is the heart of our pizza. Our recipes and pies are unique to us and we strive to provide fresh, locally sourced ingredients to serve the best slices in Central Texas.
