Celebrate women during international women's day and bring together all for learning, collaboration, and mentorship.

•The Period Project - Our group service project with the students will be a Period Packing Party! The Period Project exists to eradicate period poverty and restore dignity for people affected by menstrual inequity. Its core purpose is to ensure equal, affordable access to menstrual health products for all, particularly for individuals who struggle to obtain them.

• CTE Innovation Center is a state-of-the-art Career & Technology Education facility operated by Greenville County Schools. It is located on the Roper Mountain Science Center campus and serves 10th–12th grade students from across the district. The center is designed to give high school students hands on, industry-aligned STEM training in fields where local job growth is strong. Students enroll in a two year program in one of these fields: Aerospace Technologies, Automation & Robotics, Clean Energy Technology, Emerging Automotive Research, and Networking / Cybersecurity. Each program has its own dedicated lab with industry grade tools and technology.

•The focus of the event is on mentoring and inspiring the current female students and those who have applied for 26/27 in one of these areas: pursuing a journey into STEM, building confidence, discovering their talents, ability to communicate with an adult, how to interface in a male dominated field, connecting with other women or contacts in college/industry with confidence, etc.

PLEASE NOTE:

This is a period project event - so if anyone is willing to bring any donation items like tampons or pads, that would be great!

We can't wait to see you there!
