Attendees will be welcomed by Boise Cascade associates and receive a safety orientation to ensure everyone feels comfortable and has the proper PPE. During the tour, participants will enjoy an up-close look at the Medford Plywood manufacturing process—from green veneer intake to panel assembly and finishing. As the group moves through the facility, they’ll get to observe advanced machinery and innovative technology in action, showcasing how efficiency and quality are built into every step. This experience will offer a clear understanding of Boise Cascade’s dedication to quality assurance and sustainability, all while highlighting the company’s core values: Integrity, Safety, Respect, and Pursuit of Excellence.
The Medford Plywood facility is a key manufacturing site for Boise Cascade, specializing in the production of plywood products and Parallel Laminated Veneer (PLV). PLV is an engineered wood product known for its strength and versatility, used in a variety of construction and industrial applications. By efficiently producing both plywood and PLV while adhering to sustainable practices, the Medford facility supports Boise Cascade’s mission to deliver reliable, high-quality, and sustainable wood products and solutions. Its role in the supply chain ensures product availability and reinforces Boise Cascade’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and being a trusted partner in the building materials industry .

Please Note:
- NO hoodies or hooded jackets (to afford good peripheral vision due to cars, trucks, and forklifts). Full-length pants are required (no shorts, dresses, or skirts).
- Closed-toe shoes are required. Steel-toed shoes or boots preferred, no high heels, open toed shoes, nor sandals.
- Hair past shoulders must be contained/tied up above the collar line.
- No loose jewelry (Necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc.).
- No Cameras, Cell Phones, nor any video recording devices are allowed.
- Smoking on Boise Cascade company property is not allowed.
- Reflective Vests are required, Safety Glasses are required (NO dark lenses in the plant; transition lenses that revert to clear in a timely manner are acceptable). Hearing Protection is required & supplied (tours do not enter the warehouse-so hard hats not required).
- No handling of wood is allowed.
- Machines and equipment start automatically. Reaching into machines and/or material transfer areas is not allowed.
- Watch for Hysters at all times in all areas.
- All guests will read & sign a Waiver and Release of Liability form and will be given a “Pre-Tour Safety Talk”- safety card shall be completed and initial/signed by attendees/guides prior to tour.
- If an Evacuation alarm sounds during an emergency; the Tour Guide will lead you safely out of the plant.
Parking is available in front of admin building that has the red roof. See Map Provided. Google/ Apple Maps sometimes takes you to our warehouse.
