Join Women in Manufacturing Oregon and Leatherman Tool Group for an interactive, beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn a simple new way to bring ideas to life with AI. No technical background is needed.

At Leatherman, people across teams — including manufacturing, operations, and business functions — are already using AI to create simple tools that save time, improve visibility, and make work easier. In this session, we’ll share real examples of how these tools are being used across the organization.

Then, you’ll get the chance to create one of your own.
With guidance from our team, you’ll go from idea to working prototype using an easy AI-powered platform. Experienced facilitators will be there to answer questions, offer support, and help you explore what’s possible.

What to expect:
• A practical introduction to vibe coding and how it’s being used in a manufacturing organization
• Real-world examples from across Leatherman teams
• Dedicated time to build your own project with hands-on support
• Opportunities to collaborate, learn from others, and exchange ideas
• A closing showcase featuring a few participant-built creations
You’ll leave with a working prototype, new skills, and a fresh perspective on what’s possible with AI.

• Anyone curious about using AI in their work
• Individuals with ideas they want to explore or build
• No coding or technical experience required

What to bring:
• A laptop and charger (must be able to access and log into Replit.com Please ensure you are complying with your company's security policies, or plan to use a personal device. Replit Privacy)
• Any data you may want to use in your app (please ensure you are complying with your company’s data policies)
• 1–2 app ideas you’d like to explore (optional — we’ll help you if you’re not sure where to start)

• Free access to a private Replit demo environment
• Light snacks and refreshments
