The Women in Engineering employee resource group at Nestle Purina launched their mentorship program “CONNECT” in 2018. They started with just 10 mentorship pairs and have grown the program to include over 35 pairs this year! Join us for a lunch and learn session where they discuss the structure of their mentorship program, some resources they have used, and relevant topics that have been beneficial for their mentorship pairs.

About Sara Smith
Sara graduated from Creighton University in 2017 with a BSBA in Business Intelligence Analytics and Marketing. After her journey as a Blue Jay, she started with Nestle Purina Petcare as a Management Development Associate in their IT department. Over the past 6 years with Purina, she has progressed through IT management roles to where she is today as an IT Regional Manager covering two manufacturing facilities, including Purina’s newest startup factory in Ohio. She credits the confidence she has built and network she has been able to grow to her many mentors who have helped her along the way!
About Lizzy Mouron
Lizzy is a Principal Engineer R&D with Nestle Purina, working within the Product Technology Center on pet food process and product development. She has been with the company for 12 years. Lizzy graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Chemical Engineering. She lives in St Louis with her husband and 2 daughters.
