Join the WiM Minnesota Chapter for a tour of Mead Metals, Inc., a metal service center located in Shoreview, MN. During this tour you will see their basic process to supply flat rolled metal to stampers and fabricators across the country. See a demonstration of coil sitting and get an introduction to the various metal alloys Mead wells. Attendees will gain a basic understanding of how flat rolled metal gets into the manufacturing process and what types of jobs it takes to run a metal service center.
We would like to encourage/recommend that all persons who are not in direct manufacturing please “bring” at least one direct manufacturer to the event.

Visitors are required to wear close toed flat shoes suitable for an active manufacturing work environment. It is preferred that no photos be taken on the shop floor.
