About Christen Campbell
BASF is the largest chemical manufacturer in the world with the Geismar, Louisiana site being one of the largest sites globally for the company. Christen Campbell provides strategic oversight for the Geismar site’s Utilities department. She aids in developing capital and operational plans to attain key goals in the areas of safety, environmental, security, logistics and business/financials. She supports all North America sites with clean energy and sustainability assessments, energy efficiency and management (ISO50001 compliance), end-to-end process optimization, large capital projects, and strategies to advance deployment of new energy technologies. Additionally, she oversees the Geismar Site Development Plan, Site Strategy and Master Plan, Site Sustainability Strategy and Commission, Site Business Development, Verbund Management and Optimization, and Third-Party Partner Management. Christen connects BASF’s sustainability commitments to site growth while creating chemistry for a sustainable future. She also serves as a BASF representative on several community, trade and government committees and boards to ensure support for a positive business climate in Louisiana.
