Join Women in Manufacturing Indiana to learn about the Caterpillar Large Engine Center in Lafayette, Indiana.

In August 2024, the Caterpillar team broke ground on a significant facility expansion—Caterpillar’s large, multi-year capital investment at the facility will increase capacity for both new engines and aftermarket parts. 

The new building on the Lafayette campus will allow the company to expand its ability to build and test new engines, genset packages and provide aftermarket components by expanding the campus’ footprint, refurbishing equipment and investing in additional equipment.

The expansion project will also result in 100 new jobs on the campus, adding to to the 1,900 employees who currently work at the Lafayette Engine Center.

Attendees will tour the current manufacturing facility, then speak with Caterpillar leaders after the tour to learn more about their capacity expansion work and the Women's Network at Caterpillar.
