Join WiM Indiana as we celebrate the women in our region during our annual Galentine's Day Social event!

Galentine's Day is a global holiday to celebrate women's friendship, and we’re looking forward to providing our WiM Indiana network an opportunity to create new connections with other women in manufacturing.

We will be gathering at INCOG BioPharma on the NE side of Indianapolis for an open-house-style event with food and beverages, fun Galentine's activities, an optional facility tour, and this year we’re adding a book signing from a fabulous female author.

We’ll be featuring Kathy Miller, co-author of “Steel Toes and Stilettos,” a book that serves as both a personal story of female leadership and a practical case study on lean transformation, offering insights for women in business and leaders interested in cultural change. She will also have copies of her recently launched book, “MORE Is Better,” which advocates a people-centric approach to leadership in manufacturing.

Kathy will be on-site for a meet and greet with attendees and selling and signing copies of both books. Arrive between 5-6pm to enter for a raffle to win a copy of one of her works.

This event sold out last year, so get your tickets now!

About “Steel Toes and Stilettos”

“Steel Toes and Stilettos” by Kathy Miller and Shannon Karels is a memoir about two women leading a successful lean manufacturing transformation, detailing their professional journey, the challenges of sexism in a male-dominated field, and the development of a strong friendship as they implemented significant business changes.

About “MORE Is Better: Leading Operations with Meaning, Optimism, and Relationships for Excellence.”

Drawing from decades of experience as an award-winning manufacturing executive and a Master's in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, Miller presents this philosophy as a practical field guide for leaders in industrial environments. Her approach challenges traditional views of efficiency by proving that prioritizing human flourishing and workplace culture can unlock an organization's potential and lead to better business results.

Thank you to our event host, INCOG BioPharma.

INCOG BioPharma was born on a 34-mile bike ride in Maui. Our founder, Cory Lewis, was between careers and unsure of what opportunity he wanted to pursue – but he knew he wanted to do something that had an impact. That was different, better and faster, and gave customers the experience they deserve.

Somewhere between Paia and Mt. Haleakala, he realized what the answer was. Using his 20+ years of experience in the CDMO marketplace, his connections and associates, Cory set about to create a company that believes in making the world healthier while keeping patients’ best interests at heart. And so INCOG BioPharma was born.

We are on a mission to create better and more accelerated paths to market for your life-saving drugs by serving you in extraordinary ways.

We do this by cultivating a high-performance organization that serves your unique drug production requirements, fosters innovation and strives to do things differently by taking a flexible approach to every project we take on.
