Join WiM IL for an action-packed day with two plant tours and speaker from John Deere. We will provide bus service for those traveling from the Chicago area and will meet at the Hyatt Schaumburg at 7:00am. The first tour starts at 9:30am at John Deere's Seeding facility, and the second tour and lunch will be at 11:30 at John Deere's Harvester facility. Please Note:
- Please wear long pants and closed toe shoes.
- Participants must be 13 years old.
- No video recording or photography permitted.
Agenda:
Seeding tour
9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. | Kick off with introductions/tour prep for 30 minutes
• Coffee and light refreshments to be provided
• 15 minutes worth of introductions/kick off presentation
• 15 minutes of gearing visitors up with required PPE (provided by Seeding) and getting tour headsets situated
10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. | Tour of Seeding factory
• 1 hour walking tour
Regroup after tour and depart for Harvester – 30 minutes total
Harvester Tour
11:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. | Arrival at Harvester
• Lunch provided at Harvester – depending on the morning start time we can do presentations while people are having lunch or leave it more of an open discussion/networking time for the visitors
12:30 pm. | Harvester Tour
• 1.5 hour riding tour
2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. | Regroup with time for Q & A, closing comments, etc.
2:30 p.m. | Back on bus
