Celebrate the season of giving with the Women in Manufacturing Illinois Chapter at our annual Holiday Lunch & Book Drive! It’s a joyful tradition that brings our community together to reflect, connect, and give back.

Each year, we collect new school-aged books to donate to Enchanted Backpack, helping to equip classrooms and inspire young readers across our region. Small acts, such as donating a book, can spark big changes, and this event reminds us of the power of community.

This year, we’re thrilled to welcome Kerri Locigno and Shirley Xiao from Cascade Energy. Much like the spirit of the holidays, Cascade’s mission centers on renewal, helping manufacturers create energy efficiency that sustains both their operations and our planet. Their insights will inspire us all to think about how we can bring lasting impact to the communities and industries we serve.

About Our Speakers

Kerri Locigno

Director of Strategic Development, Cascade Energy
Kerri brings deep expertise in program design, business strategy, and partnership development across the energy and manufacturing sectors. Her work focuses on helping industrial clients reduce waste, save energy, and strengthen operational performance through practical, people-first solutions.

Shirley Xiao

Technical Customer Advocate (TCA), Cascade Energy
Shirley is an experienced energy engineer with a strong background in overseeing technical services across the energy industry. In her current role, she conducts customer outreach and facilitates opportunities for incentive-funded projects that drive energy efficiency improvements at industrial, water, wastewater, and public facilities through ComEd’s Custom Program. Shirley holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a master’s degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and plans to take the PE exam in Spring 2026.
