Join us for the Women in Manufacturing Georgia Happy Hour & Facility Tours, a collaborative event hosted in partnership with the Southwire Women’s Network.

Southwire’s North Campus facility, located less than five miles from the company’s headquarters, spans 881,000 square feet and employs over 400 team members. This site specializes in manufacturing a wide range of electrical products, including circuit size and feeder THHN and XHHW, SIMpull® CoilPAK™, SIMpull® NM-B, rubber cord, lamp wire, and speaker wire. It also houses compounding equipment for producing rubber, SimX additive, and EPR.
Originally built by Columbia Records in the 1980s for music media production, the facility operated under CBS and Sony, manufacturing 8-track tapes and DVDs. Southwire acquired the building in 2013 and transformed it into a wire and cable production facility to meet growing market demand.
