Learn about RYAM, a global leader of cellulose-based technologies, including cellulose specialties, a natural polymer commonly used in the production of filters, food, pharmaceuticals and other industrial applications. RYAM has manufacturing operations in the U.S., Mexico and France.

Established in 1937, RYAM’s Fernandina Beach plant produces 155,000 metric tons of softwood cellulose specialties annually and employs more than 300 people.

The Fernandina Beach plant reflects RYAM’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. Its powered by Eight Flags LLC: A combined heat and power plant located on-site, fueled by natural gas, which emits 50% less greenhouse gases (GHG) than coal. It generates 20 MW of power to support residents and businesses on Amelia Island. RYAM collaborates with Borregaard LignoTech to produce sustainable, high-performing lignin products using renewable raw materials.

We can't wait to see you there!
