Join the WiM Colorado Chapter for a tour and morning of networking at Rocky Mountain Bottle Company. RMBC is a glass manufacturer that was founded as Columbine Glass Company in 1970. In 1976 Coors purchased the plant and RMBC became the Coors Glass Division. In 1997 Coors and Owens-Illinois created a joint venture to exclusively produce Molson Coors glass packings.

Today, RMBC has over 250 employees, 2 glass melting furnaces, 5 forming machines, and 2 glass colors - flint and amber. We are making over 3 million glass bottles every day serving iconic brands such as Miller High Life, Blue Moon, and Coors Banquet.

During the tour, attendees will gain a basic understanding of the glass-making process, glass forming, glass stress relaxation, and final product quality control. RMBC will also share information about the importance of glass recycling in the process of making glass. Finally, attendees will get exposure to the culture of Molson Coors and our understanding of putting people first.
