Please join WIM Colorado on August 18th where we will host a Handbag and Accessory drive to benefit Dress for Success Denver as well as a fun and engaging discussion on navigating perceptions of attire and appearance as women in manufacturing. This discussion will go beyond clothing by focusing on confidence, credibility, authenticity, leadership presence, safety, and culture.
Your interview-appropriate accessory donations (handbags, jewelry, scarves, and shoes) are tax deductible and help support DFSD’s mission of helping women less fortunate get on the road to success.

3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. | Participants arrive, check in and drop off their gently used, professional handbag and/or cash donations for Dress for Success Denver. Network and grab a bite to eat and a drink.
3:30 p.m. - 3:50 p.m. | Learn about the mission of Dress for Success Denver, a non-profit whose mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
3:50 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. | An authentic and engaging panel discussion that goes beyond clothing and gets into confidence, credibility, authenticity, leadership presence, safety, and culture. We’ll discuss how clothing and appearance impact women in manufacturing and how it varies with position, industries within manufacturing and throughout career advancement.
