WIM Lunch & Learn: Mental Health Winter Preparedness
As the holidays approach, the days grow shorter, and the temperatures drop, many people experience changes in mood, motivation, and energy. The Mental Health Winter Preparedness Workshop is designed to help you understand how seasonal shifts and holiday stress can impact mental health—and more importantly, what you can do to stay balanced, resilient, and connected.
Join professor, corporate mental health consultant, and psychotherapist, Debra Belack, for an engaging, informational, and supportive session that explores:
• Ways to prepare emotionally for the winter and holiday season
• The difference between the “winter blues” and depression or seasonal affect disorder
• Practical tools and coping strategies to support your mental health
• How to help friends, family, and coworkers who may be struggling
Whether you’re looking to build personal coping skills or better support those around you, this workshop provides practical takeaways and resources for emotional well-being all winter long.
Duration: 55 minutes
Takeaway: Participants will receive a Winter Wellness Tips & Resources digital handout upon completion
