Celebrate Earth Day with the Central and Eastern Pennsylvania WiM Chapters!
Attendees will have the opportunity to attend a facility tour at Republic Services owned and operated Waste Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF) “York Facility”, legacy US Ecology – Envirite of Pennsylvania. During this tour, attendees will see the facility's hazardous wastewater treatment area, reactor tanks, unique delisting process of inorganic F-listed hazardous waste, solidification pit, and the drum consolidation building. The York TSDF is a technological leader in industrial waste management, specializing in the treatment and recycling of metal-bearing liquids, solids, and other hazardous waste.
Coffee and donuts will be provided.

- Attendees will need to wear closed toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves.
- Other required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hi-vis vests) will be provided by the site.
