Join WiM Missouri and Leaders from Altec Industries will be featured during an interactive panel discussion with lunch provided. The event will continue with a guided tour of Altec’s facilities, offering a firsthand look at manufacturing operations.

Parking: The event will be held in the HR/Training building. After exiting on Riverside Road, follow the outer road along to entrance #3 and turn left into the parking lot. The building is on the left with a blue roof and 3 flag poles out front. 

Altec is a leading provider of products and services to the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, lights and signs, and contractor markets. They deliver products and services in more than 100 countries throughout the world.

Altec’s first electric utility products, including the original Altec Digger Derrick, were engineered and manufactured in the 1970s in the St. Joseph factory. Today, it’s home to Altec’s most diverse and extensive equipment production facility and Altec’s largest manufacturing division. St. Joe produces a wide range of equipment, from aerials and digger derricks to backyard products with working heights ranging from 36 to over 100 feet. Every product from each arena Altec serves is designed and tested by the St. Joe based design assurance group to ensure the most reliable, field-tested equipment is delivered to their customers every day.
