WiMEF Impact

Thanks to our donors, we have the opportunity to focus on initiatives that make an IMPACT and advance the careers of women in manufacturing through effective and affordable education and training offerings.

To see first-hand the type of educational programming we produce through generous donations to the foundation, please take a minute to view the powerful video below, which highlights the Leadership lab we deliver annually in partnership with Case Western Reserve University.

LEADERSHIP LAB

Providing professional and leadership education and training to individuals in mid-to-high level management roles in manufacturing careers, the program takes place in three modules allowing professionals to apply and reflect on their learning between sessions and receive individualized coaching.

“I cannot recommend this program enough! This is a truly transformative experience that has positively affected both my professional and personal life. Not only does it afford the opportunity to learn from worldclass instructors, but being part of a cohort of professional women was outstanding.”
- Human Resources Manager, Automation Tool & Die

MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Providing new and aspiring supervisors, team leaders and managers, who have three years or less experience, with training to develop skills necessary for managerial success. This two-day workshop covers a myriad of crucial management skills.

“The MDP gives new managers a jump start on a wide range of topics traditionally learned through trial by error and provides a foundation for success. I wish there was a program like this when I began the management phase of my career and was excited to offer this opportunity to a team member with management potential.”
- Associate Director Marketing & PR, TRUMPF Inc.

VIRTUAL LEARNING SERIES

Enables participants to learn about a variety of industry and personal development topics. Each webinar includes action-oriented and solution driven objectives that will help women succeed in the manufacturing sector.

“In 2017, I participated in the 6 sessions of the WiM Virtual Learning Series, and it has been one of the most valuable benefits of my WiM membership! I enjoyed hearing different perspectives from third-parties, and the webinars helped me develop my own viewpoints. Looking forward to continuing with the WiM VLS!”
