Tanya Cook has been Principal of T R Cook Consulting, LLC in Charlotte, NC since 2020. In this role, she provides manufacturing expertise from product concept to commercialization. As a proven leader of large organizations in IT, maintenance, engineering, and production, she specializes in strategic planning to achieve both short- and long -term objectives. Prior to this role, she was the Managing Director of Cigarette Manufacturing for Philip Morris USA in Richmond, Virginia for eight (8) years. In that role, she lead and developed about 800+ salaried and hourly personnel who manufactured cigarettes at the Richmond Manufacturing Center. She retired from PM USA in 2019, after 32 years of serving in a variety of roles ranging from engineer to managing director. Tanya also served as the Chief Compliance Officer for PM USA.

Currently, Tanya serves on the VIF Board (VMA) and is an advisor to the Virginia Women In Manufacturing (WiM) Chapter.

Tanya earned a bachelor’s of engineering degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and an MBA from Montreat College in North Carolina.
