Emily is a member of many professional organizations and is partnered with NAWIC and NSPS. Advancing women in nontraditional fields is her passion. As an executive in the transportation industry, darting from client meetings to job sites required safety boots that met her fit and style standards, and when she couldn't find them anywhere, she created Juno Jones®, The Stylish Safety Boot Company™. Emily trained in shoemaking at the Brooklyn Shoe Space, and assembled a powerhouse team of designers, consultants, and industry experts to bring Juno Jones to life. Juno Jones boots are available at Duluth Trading Company, Zappos, and Junojones.com.
Juno Jones is the home of Hazard Girls®, a thriving community of women in hazardous fields, as well as a weekly podcast in partnership with Jacket Media and C-Suite Radio. Emily is the host of the Hazard Girls Podcast, interviewing different women each week about their careers in nontraditional fields. Through Juno Jones and Hazard Girls, Emily is fulfilling her dream of helping to empower women in traditionally male dominated industries.
