Professional Bio
Sarah Lucas is the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Women in Manufacturing Association (WiM). Sarah is responsible for the association’s social media and newsletter (WiM Weekly) as well as supporting the development of marketing strategies on behalf of WiM and the Women in Manufacturing Education Foundation (WiMEF).
Sarah brings to WiM more than four years of agency experience in the account management, PR and field marketing space, working in both the consumer-packaged goods and entertainment industries. In these roles, she supported clients on a local and national level in implementing strategies based on the consumer purchasing journey, facilitating press and publicity for TV and film and driving opening weekend box office movie sales.
In her free time, Sarah loves being involved in community theater as a clarinet player, volunteering, playing board/video games and traveling. She is also an amateur photographer and animal lover. Sarah holds a BBA in Marketing Management and BBA in Integrated Marketing Communications from The University of Akron.
